Crunch! Club report
Friday, November 4, 2016 by Betsy Breaker | Crunch! Club
When you get 14 great kids together great things get done! Today's Crunch! Club members crunched 64 pages of theory. Nora contributed 11 to that total, becoming today's most productive worker and Addison finished her theory book and began work in her next book!
We also recognized the Keyboard Karate kids who have earned belts so far. A total of 24 belts were awarded today.
The group kept me hopping so unfortunately I didn't get pictures today. Some of the kids stepped up to be peer helpers - a great thing to witness! What a fantastic bunch of young musicians!

We have Crunch! Club coming this Friday after school. Because of appointments for our daughter, I also had to shift Keyboard Karate from last week to overlap with Crunch! Club so its a 2-for-1 deal this week!
I see several students have registered via the portal on my website. If you have not yet registered your student, or asked me to do so for you, it's not too late to sign up! Just reply to this email and I will be happy to get your student registered. I hope that carpooling or walking with friends can be arranged so that many students are able to participate despite transportation challenges.
Students must bring their theory materials (workbooks or Creative Chord book) for Crunch! Club as this gathering is very much a work group! During snack time this week we will also award the Keyboard Karate belts earned thus far. I would ask that students also bring their piano book bag/backpack to the event Friday so that we can affix their belts! Please note that students who began lessons within the past 3-6 months may not yet have earned their first Karate belt. If some of these students are in attendance Friday we will be sure to celebrate what they HAVE accomplished!
I've heard from a couple parents regarding Christmas book purchases; if you are interested in having me purchase a book for your student, please let me know ASAP.
